Nuwat Social Solidarity Centre (Nuwat) operates in the Palestine refugee camps all around Lebanon. Nuwat is working on developing the Palestinian community by focusing on advocacy, social work, medical and educational support and assistance to marginalized groups. The organization is an active part of the Palestinian civil society implementing various activities targeting youth, women and children in particular.
The initiative supported by Björkåfrihet aims to empowering youth within their community in order to increase their participation in decision-making through advocacy campaigns, workshops and courses, and other activities. Nuwat is also working on increasing their internal capacity and the new generation’s position in their own organization.
