In 2020 Björkåfrihet initiated a partnership with Badil, a resource centre for Palestinian refugees and forced displaced. They are based on West bank but focus on Palestinian refugees all over the world. They generate knowledge about the situation of refugees today and historically. Based on this knowlege they conduct advocacy work for the rights of refugees, including the right of return and the right to self-determination.
Badil collaborates with local grassroots organisations to mobilise and to improve life conditions in the areas hardest affected by occupation and militarisation.
