Headquartered in Bethlehem, West Bank, Badil is a resource centre for Palestinian refugees that disseminates knowledge about the situation of refugees today and historically. Based on this knowledge, they carry out advocacy and mobilization for refugee rights, including the right of Palestinian refugees to return to Palestine and the right to self-determination. They do so by collaborating with local grassroots organisations to mobilise and improve life conditions in the areas hardest affected by occupation and militarisation.
Following Israel’s attacks on Gaza and the intensified violence in the West Bank after October 7 2023, Badil has been focusing on producing content for social media and mobilizing international support for a ceasefire.
